Arrested for trying to run over two people in the Canary Islands

The Civil Guard has arrested a 35-year-old man for attempted homicide for trying to run over two people in Vecindario, Las Palmas.

The victims reported that a gray vehicle tried to run them over on several occasions and even provided several videos showing it repeatedly ramming into them.

These videos also provided information about the alleged perpetrator and the license plate of the car. Given the seriousness of the events, the Civil Guard began searching for this person for arrest.

The incident, classified as attempted homicide, was aggravated by reckless driving that included speeding and dangerous maneuvers in the vicinity.

The detainee turned out to be a neighbor of the victim, with whom he already had previous problems. The detainees, along with the proceedings, were handed over to the Duty Court of Instruction.
