Residents of the town of Tahíche have publicly denounced that "schedules are being violated" in the works in the gardens of the University School of Tourism, also questioning that they are done "on holidays."
"The works begin at 7 in the morning," say the residents, who claim that the work "violates the regulations." In addition, they criticize that the workers "do not water the area," so the wind fills the surroundings with dirt.
They also claim that on August 5, a holiday in the municipality of Teguise, they were forced to call the Local Police "because they were working from the first hour," also violating the regulations.
"It is a work that is expected to be completed in 4 months, and is undertaken in the summer months, with children and adolescents at home and awake due to the work from 7 in the morning," they point out.
Faced with this situation, they demand that the Teguise City Council "comply with the regulations," demanding that the works begin after 8 in the morning and that they do not carry out work on holidays.
