A resident of Playa Honda has contacted La Voz to report that her neighbors allegedly slashed her car tires after she went on a trip and left it parked in front of their house.

The woman claims that, after going on a trip to the peninsula on June 12 due to a family problem, she left the car parked on Timón street and the neighbors who are right in front of the vehicle are unhappy that it is there." Therefore, they called the police saying that "the car was abandoned" and, in the words of the reader, "without corroborating this information, the agents called her to ask her to remove the vehicle from that area."

These neighbors, seeing that the car was not removed, allegedly "slashed the tires and the police called us again to tell us that we had not removed the car from that area, but the vehicle is not abandoned because it is up to date with all payments."

The woman says that they cannot return to Lanzarote because they are outside the islands, but due to the situation, her husband has had to buy a ticket for 130 euros to fly to Lanzarote "because of the whim of this neighbor who is not happy because the car is at his door."
