A reader has contacted La Voz to report the situation being experienced by the residents of Charco del Palo due to the "neglect" they suffer from the Teguise Town Council.
In this regard, they assure that "no one from the Town Hall comes to clean the streets" and that "the residents themselves do it."
In fact, in the video that the neighbor sent to this newsroom, you can see how the machinery cleans the main bathing area of the town. "We, the neighbors, clean the pools of Charco del Palo and we bear the costs," he says.
Furthermore, she criticizes the lack of maintenance of the streets. "The sidewalks practically don't exist, the City Council has completely forgotten about us," she concludes.
