A reader has contacted La Voz to report the lack of police presence on Inés, Triana and Portugal streets during the early hours of weekends.

The neighbor says that "there are fights with knives", something that, as La Voz already published, happened on June 29 where three people were injured. In addition, he says that "last Sunday morning there was a man arguing with his partner and breaking the windows of the cars".

"This is not fair, the police know that these things happen on weekends but they do not remedy it... those of us who go to work are afraid to pass through these streets or pick up our cars for fear of being confronted by someone unnecessarily and looking for a problem with good and working citizens", he continues.

He also points out that "many times it is difficult to sleep due to the noise caused by people in these streets". Therefore, the neighbor asks that a solution be found to this problem and that there be agents patrolling these areas so that these fights and scandals do not take place.
