A reader has contacted La Voz to report the accumulation of trash and belongings on Fernando el Católico street, in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood of Arrecife. This neighbor assures that "they have been months without passing through the plain to collect the waste and the excesses of cardboard or glass".
Furthermore, he assures that "in the plain there are rats and cockroaches that enter the garage located in front since the trash in the area is not cleaned". In this sense, he criticizes that "the garbage collectors come and for not getting down they pass by and even place the trash on top of what is already outside".
"When there is wind, the street fills with cardboard and waste with strong odors on the street... I only ask that they do their job correctly and if there is money for parties and to prepare the streets for the rain, that they also deign to clean the streets where many residents live," he continues.
"This is indignation because it's not the first time, it's every month the smell and the dirt that we residents who live in the area have to put up with for not wanting to take care of the streets", concludes the neighbor.
