The family of Pino Álamo has contacted La Voz to thank all the specialists who treated her both at Molina Orosa and at the Insular Hospital.
"We thank all the people who are part of the Emergency, Internal Medicine, and Oncology teams, each of the oncologists who treated her and especially her doctor Cynthia who had a lot of confidence in her and all the Nursing staff. Also, to the Insular Hospital, especially to her doctor Patricia and her rehabilitators Yasmina and Faina, to the Palliative Care Unit, especially to doctor Nuria and her nurse Yoana from the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital of Lanzarote.
We also want to thank the associations that have provided us with their help in one way or another, such as AFOL, Against Cancer Association, and AFA, all of them have been human beings who share their kindness, amiability, good work, vocation, affection, and everything that was needed.
We want to express our most sincere gratitude for the treatment, humanity, affection, dedication, and respect with which you have accompanied us on this journey. You have not only cared for our health but also for our well-being and human dignity at all times.
Thank you for your patience, your words of encouragement, and for always being there when we needed you most, you have shown us that medicine is not only science, but also a profound human vocation.
We want to thank you for the attention and affection with which you have attended to us from the first minute until her passing.
In a process as delicate as this, we have felt very understood, supported, and helped in the different decisions we had to face at the end of our relative's life; knowledge is important, but the human quality that accompanies it is even more important.
We will not have a lifetime to thank you, we will never forget you on behalf of the entire Pino Álamo Ramírez family.
We deeply want to remember all the people who accompanied us in one way or another when saying goodbye to our relative, we feel supported by all the family and friends who came to the funeral home to give her their last farewell.
