A resident of Arrecife has reported that hundreds of plastic bags and gloves, cans and other waste accumulate in front of a supermarket in Arrecife.
This waste is located in front of a vacant lot located next to the Mercadona supermarket and the Decathlon in Argana Alta and adjacent to the Arrecife Ring Road. In the place, plastics from the supermarket carts fly, filling the entire terrain with plastic.
A citizen has denounced the pain that it means to see this image: "With the island as beautiful as we have it," he said in statements to La Voz.
In this sense, he has stated that although he has called the Arrecife City Council several times in the last 15 days, they have replied that they were going to try to solve it, but they have not paid attention to him.
In the photographs sent to this media, the waste can be seen throughout the area. With the usual wind conditions on the island and its proximity to the coast, they can end up in the sea.
