A reader has contacted La Voz to report her "discontent" with the Yaiza City Council due to the poor condition of the gardens in the Las Coloradas area, in Playa Blanca.

According to her, "they have forgotten to take care of them," as she assures that "neither they are cleaned nor are their gardens cared for." "We present a deplorable image to tourists and we residents are indignant with weeds that exceed one meter in height," she states.

In the photos, you can see dry palm leaves on the ground, as well as a large amount of grass that even invades part of the sidewalk.

Therefore, the resident asks the City Council to urgently take the necessary measures "because garbage sticks to the weeds and the plants occupy the roadways."
