A reader has contacted La Voz to report the impossible night she had a few days ago traveling between Lanzarote and Gran Canaria with Baleària's Sicilia ferry due to constant noise heard in the cabin and the television turning on by itself.
According to her, in cabin 63 that was assigned to her, "they left us a remote for the television and at night it turned on by itself, I had to take the batteries out and even so it turned on by itself. I had to pull the cable because it woke us up at full volume several times in the early morning."
Furthermore, she points out that the cabin "didn't stop making noise all night and it was impossible to sleep, and there were times when it moved more and the noise was unbearable."
On the other hand, she expresses her discomfort with the slowness of the procedures to buy the ferry tickets. "I had to make the reservation by phone because in the morning I wanted to take a ferry for that night and it wouldn't let me. We were two people with two cars and I had to make two separate reservations and pay for a seat on one hand and a four-person cabin which is what was left, something that had a higher cost," she explains.
After that, she was supposed to receive two emails, but she assures that they never arrived. "I had to call again and go into my reservations on the app myself to make the payment," she indicates. "I spent more than an hour to complete the process because the operators took a very long time," she concludes.
