The Orientación Marítima de Lanzarote club of the Segunda Federación FUTFEM settled this Thursday the outstanding payments to its players, as confirmed by the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) after making public the list of teams that had not fulfilled this obligation in which it appeared along with twelve others.
The union made its announcement once the deadlines set by the AFE-1ª Federación, AFE-2ª Federación, AFE-3ª Federación and AFE-FutFem joint commissions for the 2024-2025 season had expired and confirmed that Lleida will be relegated from the Segunda Federación for this reason, in accordance with the General Regulations of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
The clubs of Tercera Federación have also not fulfilled this obligation: Atlético Saguntino, Arandina, Badajoz, Cartagena B, Cartaya, Lanzarote, Málaga City, Centre d’Esports Manresa, Polideportivo El Ejido 1969 and Athletic Club Torrellano.
The Orientación Marítima de Lanzarote of the Segunda Federación FUTFEM, initially included in the list, settled its debt shortly after.
The clubs with outstanding payments will have their federative rights suspended, which will prevent them from processing new licenses until they regularize their economic situation.
AFE indicated that the different joint commissions have already transferred the corresponding information to the RFEF, which will apply the appropriate measures included in the current regulations.
