With a great atmosphere in the stands of the Municipal Pancho Bermúdez, in Tías, UD Lanzarote played its first match of the season in group XII of the Third Federation against CD Buzanada. The Rojillos played a very serious match, controlling the game at all times and not experiencing difficulties in defensive tasks. Ale Fuentes and Pablillo were the authors of the first two goals of the season to conquer the three points that were at stake.
UD Lanzarote took control of the game from the start of the match, and barely needed ten minutes to take the lead. Ayoze Pérez executed a corner kick and Ale Fuentes, unmarked inside the area, finished into the back of the net defended by Edwing.
The match continued with UD Lanzarote dominating, creating a lot of danger in the incursions down the wings and in set-piece actions. The first half ended with another chance for the Rojillos, with a backheel pass from Iván Aguilar for Ale Fuentes' incursion down the left and the cross shot did not find the three posts.
UD Lanzarote increased the difference in the first minutes of the second half. Pablillo was in charge of executing a corner kick to the left of the goal defended by Edwing, he did it quite closed and after touching the ball slightly in a defender it ended up sneaking inside the goal. Olympic goal for one of the debutants in the team.
UD Lanzarote controlled the match at will in this second half, with Josimar having the possibility of increasing the differences with a shot that crashed into the base of the post. With the score of 2 to 0, the match came to an end, adding the first three points of the season.
