UD Lanzarote defines the work plan for the preseason

The coaching staff led by Jero Santana has scheduled five weeks of preseason training, with the aim of reaching the start of the season in the best physical condition and with a squad as cohesive as possible.

UD Lanzarote's preseason began on Monday afternoon, with seven training sessions scheduled for the first week of work, with a double session in the morning and afternoon on Thursday. The team's coach, Jero Santana, commented that the objective of this first week will be to get in physical shape after the holidays and always with the ball as the protagonist. Two matches have been scheduled between the UD Lanzarote players themselves, the first of them on Wednesday afternoon and the second on Saturday morning.

The first preseason matches will arrive in the second week of work. The first preparation match will be played on Tuesday, July 30 against San Bartolomé CF (Primera Regional), a match scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Pedro Espinosa "Colón" Municipal Stadium. And on Friday, August 2, the second friendly match of the preseason will be played against CD Tahíche (Regional Preferente), scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Tahíche Municipal Stadium.

In the third week of work, the rojillo team will also play two preparation matches. On Tuesday, August 6, UD Lanzarote will face the youth team of Orientación Marítima, a match scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the Ciudad Deportiva. And on Saturday, August 10, the LI San Ginés Tournament will be held, with the rojillos' rival being UD Las Palmas of the Second Division "A".

UD Lanzarote also plans to play in the XXX San Bartolomé Patron Saint Festivities Tournament 2019, a triangular tournament that will feature the participation of Unión Sur Yaiza (Regional Preferente) and San Bartolomé CF (Primera Regional). The first of the matches will be played on Thursday, August 15 against the hosts of San Bartolomé CF and the following day the rival will be Unión Sur Yaiza, with both matches being played at the Pedro Espinosa "Colón" Municipal Stadium.

During the preseason, the usual training session on one of the beaches of the tourist towns of the island of Lanzarote will not be missing, which allows direct contact with the large group of British fans that the rojillo team has. This time the training will take place in Puerto del Carmen, and it is initially scheduled for Wednesday, August 7.
