The XXVII Gymnastics Festival Isla de Lanzarote 'Lolina Curbelo' Kicked Off

The Sports City hosts this Tuesday the second day of the Festivalito, on Wednesday and Thursday the Youth Festival will take place and on Friday the Advanced Elite Festival

The XXVII Gymnastics Festival Isla de Lanzarote 'Lolina Curbelo', organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote through the Insular Sports Service directed by the acting councilor Lorenzo Reyes (PP), started yesterday at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote with the celebration of the first day of the Festivalito, which will continue from 6:00 p.m. this Tuesday. The 'Youth Festival' will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15 p.m.; and the 'Advanced Elite Festival' will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.

It is planned that this event, which pays tribute to Lolina Curbelo as a promoter of gymnastics on the island, will have about 1,000 participants belonging to the gymnastics clubs: Tenesa Sol, Tigotán, Isla de Lanzarote, Ayatima, Capellanía, AMPA Diamar Ajei, Culdecase La Graciosa, Acrodance, Altau de Gran Canaria and Insular Sports Service. It will also feature the participation of Diana López, champion of Spain and bronze medalist in the Ultra Pole World Championship, an acrobatic modality of Pole Dance.
