In one of the few matches played of the twenty-seventh round of the Tercera Federación, UD Lanzarote hosted on Sunday midday at the Ciuda Deportiva Lanzarote UD Villa de Santa Brígida. In a rough match and without too much rhythm in ball circulation, the 'rojillos' were able to unlock the clash in the final minutes with two set-piece actions.
The first half barely had dangerous chances. UD Lanzarote worked to gain control of the game, a dominance that did not translate into dangerous chances on the goal defended by Jonay. The first warning came with a play by Pablo on the right and Moha narrowly missed the pass into the box.

The sentence arrived in the 90th minute of the match, with a foul in the vicinity of the area. Javi Martín was in charge of executing the foul, the ball passed between the wall and ended up lodging near the base of the post of the opponent's goal.
With the 2 to 0 the end of the match was reached, the red team rediscovering victory and continuing to have options to fight for the high positions of the classification in the final stretch of the season.
