The Sorcery is proclaimed winner of the XIII Lustral Regatta in the ORC 0-2 class

The boats of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife occupied the first positions of the general

The XIII Lustral Regatta Bajada de la Virgen de las Nieves 2025 had the participation of several boats from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, successfully completing the 95.3 nautical mile route between the island of Tenerife and La Palma. The Sorcery of Antonio Luis Hernández took the victory in the ORC 0-2 class, and shared the podium with the Sorondongo IV of Miguel Ángel Armas and the Muyay of Nano Negrín, second and third, respectively.

The event, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Santa Cruz de La Palma, did not miss its appointment in each lustral year in honor of the patron saint of the island, being valid for the Spanish Height Championship (Canary Islands Zone) and for the Canary Islands Championship of the Cruiser class. The boats took the start from Santa Cruz de Tenerife and after more than ten hours of navigation reached the finish line in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

Representing the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, the Fontmar (Ignacio Concepción), Katanga (Raymond Curtis), Muyay (Nano Negrín), Sorondongo IV (Miguel Ángel Armas) and Sorcery (Antonio Luis Hernández) participated in the ORC 0-2 class. And in the ORC 3 class, Ferrer y García (Ferrer y García Asesoría SL), Pionene (Miguel
Pérez) and Altamar I (Francisco Curbelo) took the start.

Regata Lustral. Sorondongo IV

 

The first five positions in the ORC 0-2 class were occupied by boats from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife. The victory went to the Sorcery of Antonio Luis Hernández who
completed the course in 11 hours, 14 minutes and 10 seconds. The components of the Sorondongo IV of Miguel Ángel Armas (12:21:45) climbed to the second step of the podium and the third position was for the Muyay of Nano Negrín (14:43.31).

In the fourth and fifth position were classified the Katanga of Raymond Curtis (14:59.02) and the Fontmar of Ignacio Concepción (15:30.00), respectively. In the ORC 3 class, Ferrer y García was classified in the fifth position of the general, completing the 95.3 nautical miles in just over fifteen hours, the Pionene of Miguel Pérez occupied the sixth position and the Altamar I of Francisco Curbelo was ninth.
