Magnificent participation of the Poliarrecife club competitors in the Canary Islands School Karate Championship, held in Adeje, last Saturday. This sporting event is a competition of the Government of the Canary Islands that this year 2025 was held for the first time in this sport, with the organization of the Canary Islands Karate Federation.
Karate Poliarrecife attended with three competitors to this event, in which athletes from the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura, from the Children's and Youth categories, competed.
Caleb Padrón was Champion in Male Youth Kumite -42 kg. After an impeccable performance, winning his three fights. For his part, Mohamed Kaochamy, who only fell in the final of his category, which earned him the runner-up in Male Children's Kumite -45 kg.
Marius Sasu, despite his meritorious performance, could not fight for the medals, finishing fifth classified in Male Youth Kumite -54-60+60 k. Without a doubt, another very good performance by the Arrecife club, with which it demonstrates the high level of its athletes, also in these young categories.
