The Marmape Motor Sport club, headed by Marcial Álvarez, has delivered the money raised to the Pequeño Valiente association at the solidarity event of the Motor Festival, which took place on November 1 in Tinajo. In total, the funds raised amounted to 2,750 euros.
The institution greatly appreciated the donation made for the benefit of children in their fight against childhood cancer. "Thank you very much to all the members of the Marmape Motor Sport team and to all motorsport enthusiasts for their collaboration and supporting an altruistic initiative," they highlighted from the group.
The celebration of the event, which was attended by the Minister of Sports of the Cabildo, Alfredo Mendoza, and the Mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, turned out to be a great success in which sportsmen and lovers and followers of motor racing had the opportunity to enjoy the 1st edition of the Motor Festival in which assault vehicles, quads or kart cross were present, an event that, in addition to raising funds, also served as a tribute to the deceased driver Toñín Suárez.
The president of Marmape Motor Sport pointed out that "our objective was to bring together public institutions, sportsmen and motor enthusiasts and the feeling of all of them has been excellent. We have fulfilled the objective of raising funds for the fight against childhood cancer and achieving a collection of 2,750 Euros that will help the Pequeño Valiente Association. I would also like to thank the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the City Council of Tinajo for all the support and collaboration to carry out this event".
