The Lanzarote Raqueta Club traveled to Gran Canaria on February 7 and 8 to participate in the TTR Agüimes, competing in the U-17, absolute, and popular categories.The expedition was formed by 11 players, accompanied by their coach Aday Flores, signing an outstanding performance that translated into eight medals for the clubIn the Sub-17 category, the Lanzarote Raqueta Club achieved a complete podium
Eduardo Curbelo obtained the bronze medal in the individual modality, and together with Atenea Morales he was proclaimed champion in mixed doubles. In addition, Atenea Morales climbed the podium again by winning the bronze in singles, after a very hard-fought quarter-final.
In the popular category, Wing Choi reached the bronze medal in men's doubles alongside his Tenerife teammate Ruyman. For his part, Maura Ruggeri signed an excellent performance by achieving the silver medal in the women's singles modality, a more than deserved result.In the absolute category, the pair formed by Juan Duarte and Daniel Martín also achieved the bronze medal, completing a great participation of the club in the tournament.
The Lanzarote Raqueta Club returns thus to the island with a very positive balance, adding nine medals and demonstrating the good sporting moment of its players in all categories.
