The Haría City Council celebrates the success of the fourth edition of the Haría Music Run Night, which took place without incident this Saturday on the coast of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, with the participation of 450 runners in the three scheduled distances, consolidating the event as one of the major sporting and festive events of the summer in the municipality.

The program began at 7:00 PM on the esplanade of La Garita beach, where the music of various DJs kicked off an afternoon-evening marked by sport and leisure. Following this, there was a Zumba session, a warm-up led by the Escuela Báilame, and a performance by the Batucada Guaychara, which accompanied the participants in the moments before the starts.

The competition started at 9:00 PM with the 1.6-kilometer family race. At 9:25 PM, the participants of the 10 kilometers set off, while ten minutes later the 5-kilometer race began. The route connected La Garita beach with Punta Mujeres, with participants in the long distance completing two laps of the circuit.

The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, highlights that the fourth edition "confirms that the Haría Music Run is much more than a race, it is a gathering capable of uniting sport, music, inclusion, and coexistence in an extraordinary environment." "Gathering 450 participants and finishing the day without incidents is magnificent news and the result of the coordinated work of many people," he adds.

Therefore, Villalba thanks "the exemplary behavior of the runners and the public, as well as the involvement of the organization, security and emergency services, health personnel, volunteers, and all the companies and entities that have contributed to the success of the event."

For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, values "the extraordinary response in participation and the atmosphere experienced from the first activities of the afternoon until the final concert." He also emphasizes that "the event continues to grow without losing its close, family, and inclusive character, offering distances for different levels and an experience that goes far beyond the competition."
