The Costa Teguise Judo Club organizes a self-defense class for women

To mark International Women's Day, the club will be teaching the class this Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00.

The Costa Teguise Judo Club has organized, on the occasion of International Women's Day, to be celebrated on March 8, a self-defense class for women. Two sessions will be held on that day, the first between 10:00 and 12:00, continuing in the afternoon, from 19:00 to 21:00.

The masterclass will be taught by Haddu Hamed (Black Belt 2nd Dan in Krav Maga, 12 Khan Muay Thai, Black Belt 1st Dan in Kickboxing and Kickboxing World Runner-up) and Alejandro Ramírez (National Master 5th Dan Judo, Self-Defense Professor, Spanish Runner-up in 2018 and Senior Champion in the Canary Islands in 2021).

According to the president of the club, Antonio Ramírez, "we offer women of Lanzarote who wish to have a new opportunity to start learning to defend themselves on a day as special as 8M. From the Costa Teguise Judo Club we have already held several Self-Defense courses for women and we are proud of the good feelings with which they leave our courses."

"As every year, those who wish to can continue training in the intensive course that we will give again in the month of July. Now they have a new opportunity to start walking in that line. Places are limited and cost fifteen euros per session," concludes Ramírez.
