On June 29, the Hyrox Singapore was held at the Singapore National Stadium in Malaysia, a fitness championship that combines eight kilometers of running with eight different functional exercises. The event is part of the first international Hyrox race after the world championship that was held on June 8.
The couple formed by Alberto Ramírez and José Miguel Gutiérrez won the first place in the Hyrox Pro Doubles category (couples 40-49) with a time of 1:07:05, ahead of the duo formed by Hong Kong's Sek Po NG and Britain's Mike Fitzgibbon who finished second with a mark of 1:07:49.
For his part, Acaymo Armas obtained the first position in the individual category of the 16-24 group with a time of 1:17:28, followed by the Indonesian Keni Ong and the local Nick Quek. Also, Mario González won the silver medal with a second position in the HYROX 35-39 category with a time of 1:10:36, behind the Dutch Tony Van Eck.
The results obtained give direct pass to the four participants to the World Cup, of which the place and date of celebration are not yet known. “The athletes have returned from Singapore leaving the name of Siroco Fitness Box at the top of the podium, the result of tons of passion and effort for many months and that are now rewarded with a place for the longed-for World Cup, the dream of any athlete", they have commented from the organization.
