Last May 2, the Cadete-Junior Women's team of Club Suhari won the bronze medal in the Canary Islands Team Championship held in the town of El Sauzal, Tenerife.
The team, composed of cadets Alexia Moriano, Laura Salvador, and Juniors Nagore Guerrero and Marwa Bairouk, participated in the competition with the handicap of having one less competitor, which meant starting with a fight already lost.
Even so, they were on the verge of achieving an even better result, which was decided by point differences, as in the medal fight the warriors were tied in victories despite being one short.
Also crowned Canary Islands runners-up were competitors Alejandro González and Yassin El Maymouni, as part of the Acd Neko team from Gran Canaria.
