Rhythmic gymnastics is one of the sports included in the thirtieth edition of the Island Games for Sports Promotion, an event organized by the Island Sports Service of the Cabildo of Lanzarote. Last Friday, at the facilities of the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe, the last day of rhythmic gymnastics was held and the season was closed with the presentation of participation medals to the gymnasts.
CGR Ayatima and CGR Tenesasol have been the two clubs that have participated throughout this season in the rhythmic gymnastics modality of the Island Games for Sports Promotion. They have done so with twenty gymnasts from the Benjamin, Alevín and Infantil categories. The days played also served to choose the gymnasts who represented Lanzarote in the Canary Islands Championship at School Age.
The last day of rhythmic gymnastics was held on Friday afternoon at the facilities of the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe. Valentina Cáceres Leone, Ainara Martín Rodríguez, Antonella Giovanna Vinci, Uma Pudasaini Anderez, Alexia Reyes Lomas, Nicol Benvenutto Caler, Alba Olivero Soriano, Lara Mancini Acuña, Elena Izquierdo Díaz, Ithaysa Martín Casanova, Anastasia Aleksseva Bazhenova, Paula Moreno Bravo, Elena Pérez Barrios, Aitana Suárez Barrera, Georgia María Hanlon, Claudia Guerra Suárez, Attasara Barrera Tavío, Yarely Márquez García, Ariadna Curbelo Suárez and Yadhira Martín Robayna participated in it.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, the gymnasts were presented with participation medals, an event that was attended by Lorenzo Reyes, Minister of Sports of the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The family photo of the gymnasts of the two clubs that have taken part in the Island Games for Sports Promotion put the finishing touch to the afternoon dedicated to rhythmic gymnastics.
