FC Puerto del Carmen continues to be strong at home, winning 8-1 against Atlético Perdoma and thus maintaining a regularity that is proving very difficult to have away from home.
The match could not have started better for the players trained by Jack Talbot, who took the lead after 4 minutes through Eira, defining in the one-on-one against the Tenerife goalkeeper after receiving an inside pass.
In the 12th minute, the second goal could have arrived with a shot from Alicia from the edge of the area that, after touching the visiting goalkeeper, crashed into the post. It was only the prelude to the goal, because a minute later Alicia placed a pass into the gap, Eva fought for the ball with the defender, hitting the Lanzarote player on the opposite post and beating goalkeeper Ylenia.
The dominance was total for the local players who had various opportunities to extend the differences. First it was a header from Eira after a corner taken by Manuela that went high and then Eira herself, after gaining the back of the defense, reached a filtered ball and shot at goal, but her crossed shot crashed into the woodwork.
After half an hour of the match, problems appeared in the local team, generated solely by themselves when playing the ball from their goal. The pressure imposed by the team trained by Galilea González took the match to the local area, having some opportunity to reduce the differences, such as Laura Hernández's shot from the edge of the area that went high.
Before the break, FC Puerto del Carmen would extend the score with a long-range free kick taken by Manuela. All the players were waiting for the cross to the heart of the area, but the local defender opted for a direct shot that beat Ylenia, putting the score at 3-0. With this result, the players went to the dressing room thinking about the second half.
The second half started with the same protagonists who finished the first 45 minutes. Again, FC Puerto del Carmen began to drown very close to their area where their ideas became clouded and endangered the score they had until that moment. Approaches to Ylenia's goal were scarce, such as the one Nieves had when finishing off a free kick taken by Manuela, but it went wide.
In the 63rd minute, Atlético Perdoma's reward goal arrived, after the referee of the match pointed out a penalty on Laura De la Cruz, who herself took charge of shooting and scoring to cut the deficit.
It seemed that the Tenerife team was growing while the locals were blocking again in the defensive zone, with Ceci taking advantage of a mistake by the defense to face Naza, sending the ball wide. With that occasion, Atlético Perdoma's presence in the match ended, with the best version of FC Puerto del Carmen coming out and overwhelming their rival.
In the 66th minute, a cross into Ylenia's area was finished off by Nieves, entering from behind without the visiting team's goalkeeper being able to do anything, thus scoring the 4-1. Shortly after, it would be Alicia who would put another goal on the local team's scoreboard, finishing off a ball rejected by the visiting goalkeeper after a corner taken by Manuela.
With the score at 5-1, the coach of Atlético Perdoma chose to change the goalkeeper, bringing on Patri to replace Ylenia. The new goalkeeper had been on the field for 5 minutes when the local team scored again through Alicia, who received a through pass from Eva and with a crossed shot put the sixth goal on her team's scoreboard.
Almost without time to celebrate, the seventh arrived in a fortuitous play that ended with the ball inside the visiting goal in an attempted clearance by the defense, adding another goal before the end of the 90 minutes, when Eva won in speed to the defense of Atlético Perdoma and with a powerful shot beat Patri.
