El Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife added a very meritorious victory on Saturday afternoon on the court of Disiclín Balonmano Lalín, which allows them to maintain a three-point lead in second place in the standings. The players led by Alfredo Rodríguez had to put on their work clothes throughout the match to overcome a rival that did not make it easy at all. Only in the final minutes did San José Obrero tip the scales in their favor.
The Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife did not take long to take the reins of the match, and the goals from Abián Martín from the pivot and Ángel Iglesias from the wing, put the score at 1-2. A powerful shot from Óscar Silva, a steal by Joel Armas culminating a quick counter-attack, gave Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife some breathing room. Mauro Jaureguiberry sealed the win when the opponent was pressing all over the court.
Victory by 30 to 33 for Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife against Disiclin Balonmano Lalín, adding two points to continue holding the second position in the classification of the Primera Nacional Masculina. The next rival for the Lanzaroteans will be Balonmano Ingenio, in a duel in which the second and third classified of the group face each other.
