The Lanzarote International Cup accelerates towards its third edition, which will be held from June 17 to 21, 2026, with news that marks a before and after in its trajectory: Manchester City officially confirms its participation, becoming one of the main attractions of the tournament. The club, whose first team is managed by Spaniard Pep Guardiola, has a presence on all five continents, a sign of its global nature. Furthermore, it will be the first time that the prestigious academy of the English club competes in Lanzarote, reinforcing the international character and growing prestige of the championship.
Other top European and Spanish football clubs are joining this incorporation, such as Valencia CF, Athletic Club de Bilbao, Torino FC, and FC Porto; in addition to those recently announced, which include Real Betis, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Sevilla FC. With these new additions, the tournament consolidates its position as one of the major events in international youth football, attracting leading academies and guaranteeing an exceptional competitive level.
Alongside these big names, local participation once again plays a prominent role. Island teams such as CD Tahíche, CD Orientación Marítima, and CDU Puerto del Carmen, among others, will once again contribute to giving the tournament identity, closeness, and a deep-rooted passion for football.
The 2026 edition aims to bring together more than 120 teams, distributed in the U-10, U-12, and U-14 categories. New club names will be revealed soon, participating in what will be the largest event to date. It should be added that the organization confirms that very few spots are still available.
Official bracelets are now available
Since last December 3rd, the official bracelets for the Lanzarote International Cup 2026 have been on sale, available in three types: gold, silver, and bronze. The bracelets can be purchased through the tournament's website and are presented as the perfect gift for these dates, an ideal way to give the "Lanzarote International Cup Experience" to family and fans
