Magec Tías Lanzarote strengthens its position after defeating Hierros Díaz Miralvalle

The red-and-blacks achieve their third consecutive victory by defeating the Extremadurans 85 to 65

BALONCESTO. MAGEC TÍAS MIRALVALLE (2)

Magec Tías Lanzarote Contra la Violencia de Género once again put on an outstanding performance for their fans, clearly defeating Hierros Díaz Extremadura Miralvalle 85-65. The team coached by Jesús García thus extends their winning streak to three consecutive victories, their fourth of the season, and is now just one win away from playoff contention, fueling the enthusiasm of the red-and-black supporters.

The match, played at the Pabellón Municipal de Tías, showed a solid, focused Magec Tías Lanzarote in control of the game's rhythm from the outset. The Lanzarote team took the lead as soon as the game began and never relinquished the initiative, imposing a dominance that left the Miralvalle team with no answers. Despite their difficult league position, Miralvalle was coming off a meritorious victory against Claret from Valencia.

The first quarter was a statement of intent. The home team controlled all facets of the game, making every Extremaduran attack difficult and finding offensive fluidity to close the first ten minutes with a promising 17-11.

If the start was notable, the second quarter bordered on excellence. Magec Tías Lanzarote increased their defensive intensity and found clear paths to the opponent's basket, extending their lead to 17 points at several points. Even when the game entered back-and-forth phases, with quick transitions and dizzying attacks, Jesús García's team showed judgment and cool-headedness to finish plays in their favor. Halftime arrived with a resounding 41-26 that reflected their collective good performance

The advantage, though comfortable, was no excuse for relaxation. The local coach warned his players of the need to maintain concentration, and the team responded with a devastating 11-0 run upon returning from the locker room. With the difference exceeding 20 points, Magec Tías enjoyed themselves on the court and the devoted fans cheered them on with every play. The third quarter ended with a clear 60-38.

In the last period, the team entered a phase of frantic scoring, with consecutive three-pointers at both ends that got the crowd on their feet. Miralvalle attempted a desperate comeback, but the home team maintained control and managed the final minutes with confidence. The final 85-65 scoreline confirmed a valuable victory and equaled the club's best scoring record in its nine seasons in Liga Femenina 2. The last time the team reached 85 points was on April 2, 2022, in matchday 25 of the 21/22 season, when they defeated Vega Lagunera Adareva 73-85.

With this victory, Magec Tías Lanzarote moves into eighth place with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses, placing them just one win away from the coveted playoffs. The team's momentum, in full growth, keeps the hope alive within the club's environment and among its supporters.

Magec Tías Lanzarote Contra la Violencia de Género will face their next commitment on November 29 against Cesur Distrito Olímpico, after the match scheduled against DPES CB Ciudad de Móstoles was postponed. Said duel will finally be played on December 8, after the Lanzarote club accepted the modification request made by the Madrid team.
