Magec Tías Lanzarote remains firm on its path to salvation

Jesús García's team wins 73-54 against Vega Lagunera Toyota Adareva Tenerife

Magec Tías - Adareva

Magec Tías Lanzarote Against Gender Violence continues to demonstrate its strength in the Women's League 2 with a solid victory against Vega Lagunera Toyota Adereva Tenerife by 73-54. In a match in which the local players, under the direction of Jesús García, gave a lesson in collective play and perseverance, the rojinegro team managed to add its seventh victory of the season and move away from the relegation places.

The match began with an overwhelming Magec Tías. In just a minute and a half, the locals took the lead with a 7-0 run that forced the visiting team to request a time-out. This break allowed the Tenerife players to reorganize and return the blow with a more measured run, balancing the rhythm of the match. The equality was maintained until the end of the first quarter, when a triple, a few seconds before the end of the partial, allowed the visitors to obtain the first advantage of the match.

The second quarter started with a more focused Vega Lagunera Toyota Adereva Tenerife, achieving a difference of up to 5 points, which led Jesús García to request a time-out to reorganize his team. The response was immediate, and the rojinegras, based on a fluid offensive game and successes from the perimeter, managed to take control of the match. With a partial in their favor, Magec Tías went to halftime with a 14-point lead, making their superiority in the game clear.

In the second half, the dominance of the locals was extended, reaching an advantage close to 20 points. The Tenerife team could not stop the rojinegra machinery, which continued to execute its game with precision. Although the scoring aspect decreased somewhat in the last stretch of the match, the less usual players also had the opportunity to demonstrate their worth, which contributed to the victory with which the team moved even closer to the middle zone of the table.

With the score in their favor, Magec Tías won clearly, despite the efforts of the Tenerife team to cut distances. The local team took the final victory by 73-54, highlighting their growth and strength in the competition. This triumph, which places the Lanzarote team one step away from the middle zone of the classification, represents an important advance in the fight for permanence in the category.

Next week, Magec Tías Lanzarote Against Gender Violence will travel to Valencia to face Picken Claret, fourth classified in the competition, in what is expected to be a new important duel for the Lanzarote team. With a growing and increasingly cohesive squad, the team led by Jesús García continues its path towards salvation, with the conviction of continuing to add victories that allow them to consolidate their position in the Women's League 2.
