León Larroca, a young footballer from Lanzarote, participated a few days ago in the international campus “England at Home” after a season with Getafe F.C. achieving being the top scorer in the league.
The top scorer in the Benjamin category finished the 25/26 season with 43 goals in 24 matches. A result that has led him to the camp in Asturias.
The campus held in Pravia brought together more than 150 young people from different parts of Spain. The event ended with the election of León Larroca as the winner of the Premier League Scholarship.
The prize consists of a week of training with the youth teams of Sunderland AFC. The first team is in the Premier League and has had players like Jobe Bellingham or Jordan Pickford in past seasons.
This achievement will allow him to travel and learn in England to continue climbing the ladder in his sporting career, which at 10 years of age has already managed to be the top scorer in his team and category.
