Lanzarote Raqueta Club wins 16 medals in the TTR

The athletes participated in the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Popular, and Senior categories

The Lanzarote Raqueta Club was the star last weekend by organizing and participating in the TTR Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Popular, and Senior tournaments, achieving excellent results and taking home a total of 16 medals: 6 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze.

In the Under-11 category, Vera García and Manuel Cabrera stood out, winning the gold medal in mixed doubles after prevailing in an exciting final against Mateo Velázquez and Gara López from Fuerteventura. In women's singles, Vera García reached a final for the first time, winning silver after falling to Ciara García, from Tenerife. In men's singles, Manuel Cabrera also won silver after an intense final against Álvaro Guadalupe from Lanzarote.

In the Under-13 category, the duo Airam Steux and Ana Samyra Méndez won the silver medal in mixed doubles, in a very close final against Felipe Pérez and Marta Siverio, from Tenerife. In men's singles, Airam Steux once again took to the podium, winning another silver after falling to David Rodríguez, from Lanzarote.

The surprise came in the women's singles, where Ana Samyra Méndez took the gold medal, defeating Marta Siverio thanks to great effort and determination.

In the Under-15 category, the pair Jorge Betancort and Marina Morales won silver in mixed doubles, while Aduen Betancor and Chanel Conti reached third place in the same category. In men's singles, Jorge Betancort took bronze after falling in the semifinals against Mauro García, from Tenerife.

In the Popular category, the club dominated the podium in men's doubles: Juan Duarte and Ancor Suárez were proclaimed champions, while Wing Choi, together with his Tenerife partner Pedro Martín, took second place after a very close final.

In men's singles, Juan Duarte once again stood out, winning another gold medal after defeating Luis Miguel Alemán, from Gran Canaria, in the final.

The Lanzarote Raqueta Club expedition thus closes a brilliant weekend, with 16 medals in total—6 golds, 7 silvers, and 3 bronzes—reflecting the high level and commitment of its athletes and coaches.
