The II Slalom Haría es Deporte was held with great success this Saturday, May 11 in Haría, where Kilian Camacho Ruiz and Airám Pérez Armas (Seat Ibiza Cupra) from Fuerteventura fulfilled the predictions and took the victory among the bodywork, while the Lanzarote native Raúl Armas García (Speedcar Extrem) took first place among the Car Cross.
The drivers of Escudería Lanzarote dominated in the tourism category, Kilian Camacho Ruiz and Airám Pérez Armas (Seat Ibiza Cupra) from Fuerteventura, as usual, were the fastest, marking a final 14.47.8, which allowed them to surpass Nahuel Hernández Curbelo and Natalia Elvira Quintero (Ford Fiesta R2) by 12.3, who were second, with Saúl Figueroa Hernández and Francisco Delgado Bonilla with another (Opel Corsa GSI) being third.
In Car Cross Raúl Armas (Speedcar Extrem) surpassed Simon Medina ((Kincar Cross Speedcar) by 1.4, who was second, with Sergio Armas (Semog KC600) being third. In Quads, it is worth highlighting the local driver from Escudería Lanzarote, Kevin Hernández García, who took first place (Yamaha YFZ 450), second place for Marcos Ponce González (Yamaha YFZ), third place for Gastón Enrique Iglesias Camacho (Yamaha RAPTOR 700), in Motorcycles Kenny Huertas Cruz (KTM SX250) prevailed with a time of 16.00.3.
The teams belonging to Escudería Lanzarote have had an outstanding performance, highlighting the young driver from Lanzarote, Elieser Betancort (16 years old), who was debuting on land as a driver with the Volkswagen Golf, achieving a meritorious 4th place, in which numerous fans and motor enthusiasts have gathered.
The awards ceremony was attended by the councilors of the Haría City Council, Alberto de León, councilor for sports accompanied by Marcos Lemes, councilor for Transport and Mobility, Health, Cultural Spaces, Animal Welfare and Hunting, New Technologies, among others.
