Jesús Machín and Francisco Lemes 'El Menda', honored by the world of motorsport

The president of the Cabildo Oswaldo Betancort, the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, the Councilor for Sports of the City Council of San Bartolome and other political representatives attended the event.

Automobile enthusiasts experienced a beautiful moment in San Bartolomé with the celebration of the second edition of the Motor Festival in which tribute was paid to two greats of this discipline in Lanzarote, such as Jesús Machín and Francisco Lemes, better known as 'El Menda'.
 
The event, which was attended by the president of the Cabildo Oswaldo Betancort, the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, the Councilor for Sports of the City Council of San Bartolome and other political representatives, also served to value those who make it possible for Lanzarote to be a benchmark in motorsport, hence the recognition of drivers, former drivers, teams, collaborating companies, institutions and prominent people from the world of motorsport on the island.

The II Motor Festival; organized by the Lanzarote Team at the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park in San Bartolomé hosted an event where the public could enjoy the hundred participating vehicles, including Rally cars, drifting, Kart Cross, Motorcycles, Jet Skis and 4x4 competition vehicles, as well as workshops and music to liven up the atmosphere.
