The Tías Municipal Pavilion hosted the second and final session of the Christmas Gymnastics Festival on Wednesday night. This year the organizers decided to divide the show into two sessions and during the two days of exhibitions, hundreds of gymnastics lovers have come to the sports facilities of Tías. The little ones were able to show how much they have trained in recent months.
The Christmas Gymnastics Festival has become a classic and is an activity that complements the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival that is held in April. A festival in which the different clubs of the island of Lanzarote participate, with nearly a thousand gymnasts participating throughout the two days of exhibitions.
The second session of the XVIII Christmas Gymnastics Festival included the participation of the Ayatima Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and the Amgor Tigotán Gymnastics Club. The three clubs had different groups of gymnasts and were divided according to age groups.
And at the doors of the Tías Municipal Pavilion, the Solidarity Goal was installed again, in which toys and non-perishable food were collected for the neediest families on the island. A goal that collected the solidarity of the hundreds of Lanzarote residents who wanted to do their bit, so that the most disadvantaged have a more bearable Christmas.
