Getafe “B's” hit defeats Unión Sur Yaiza in Madrid (3-1)

The southerners were defeated in their visit to the end of Getafe and suffer the second defeat of the season

Getafe-Unión Sur Yaiza

Unión Sur Yaiza suffered its second defeat of the season on Sunday morning, returning empty-handed from its visit to Getafe “B”. The southerners never lost face in the match, but it was not enough for the team led by Maxi Barrera to add something positive in the match played at the Fernando Santos de la Parra Sports City and which was attended by a large group of Unión Sur Yaiza fans.

Both teams tried to take control of the game in the first minutes of the match, with Unión Sur Yaiza having the first chance with a cross-shot from Joel Domínguez that did not find the three posts. The Madrid team generated danger in the actions led by Rafa and Jacobo.

After 15 minutes of the first half, the first goal of the match arrived. A steal by Calçada allowed Jeremy to star in an individual play, in which he got past several defenders and adjusted his shot to the base of the post to make it impossible for goalkeeper Nauzet Pérez to stretch. Getafe's subsidiary was not satisfied, creating a lot of danger with Yassin's runs down the left wing.

The first minutes of the second half were marked by a slow game, with Unión Sur Yaiza looking for the equalizing goal. An entry by Frabricio ended up being cleared by the Getafe defense, and shortly after a good shot by Emiliano Trovento forced goalkeeper Quintela to stretch to avoid the goal.

Despite the improvement of Unión Sur Yaiza, it was Getafe “B” who was successful and increased the differences on the scoreboard in the 70th minute. A good cross from Yassin from the left wing was headed in by Calçada. From that moment on, Unión Sur Yaiza was not able to disturb their rival and even conceded the third goal in the final stretch when Isma Fernández took advantage of a bad ball exit from the defensive line.

Unión Sur Yaiza would make up the final result in the minutes of extension, with Ismael Traoré culminating a good collective play to make it the definitive 3 to 1. The southerners suffer the second defeat of the season against Getafe “B” and with 6 points are in the quiet zone of the classification, receiving the visit of Móstoles next Sunday.
