Orientación Marítima and FC Puerto del Carmen played the return derby of the Women's First National League at the Argana Municipal Stadium in a fairly pleasant atmosphere for sports. The Tiñosero team was supported by its fans, who moved to the Arrecife field, where together with the local fans, they gave even more value to the match.
With a 15-minute delay, as the refereeing trio in the review of equipment before the match did not realize the coincidence in the color of the socks of the two teams. Thanks to the availability of CD Tite, who gave a set of socks to the players of the municipality of Tías, the match could start.
The first approaches were for the locals with two corners executed by Bea that forced Naza to work to avoid the first goal of the match. However, the goal came in the other goal when Eva managed to capture a rebound from her own shot and place the ball in the back of the net with only 5 minutes of the match played.
The local team responded with a shot from the edge of the area by Gara in which the visiting goalkeeper had to shine again to avoid the goal by sending the ball to a corner kick. Orientación Marítima got very close to Naza's area without having shots on goal and clearing the danger.
Near the half hour of play and after the visitors controlled the ball playing in the rival field, the locals had a clear chance again with a very good gallop by Gara who received the ball in the center of the field and reached the opposite area looking for the shot adjusted to the post, but sending the ball slightly out.
The response from FC Puerto del Carmen came with a second goal. A free kick launched by Janet to the far post was touched by Nieves' head, who placed the ball on the far post avoiding the intervention of goalkeeper Paula.
Before the break, Gara warned again of the danger she carries in her legs, but, after getting rid of two rivals and entering the area, her shot went very close to the post on the outside.
After going through the locker rooms, the local team managed to take more initiative than the visitor, even having several free kicks on the edge of the area that they were not able to transform. FC Puerto del Carmen had taken a step back to defend the result and wait for the counterattack to try to surprise their rival.
This is how the third goal of the Tiñosero team arrived when, in the 63rd minute, a counterattack led by Nieves, Janet, Kiara and Eva ended with the latter's crossed shot beating Paula, who could do nothing to avoid the goal.
After the goal and the injury of Tere by the locals, the dynamic that the match had had until that moment in the second half changed. Samuel Maeso could not replace the injured player, as he had no substitutes left, having to play with one less player and thus losing possession of the ball, which went to the rival team.
At that moment, FC Puerto del Carmen began to put the game to sleep, to control the ball and to prevent the players of La Destila from making any goalscoring chances. Time passed and the score would no longer move from the aforementioned 0 to 3.
