FC Puerto del Carmen enjoys winning away from home (0-2)

The Tiñoseras won 0-2 against Casa Pastores and are getting closer to the goal of staying up

FC Puerto del Carmen vs Casa Pastores

Second consecutive away victory for FC Puerto del Carmen this season, winning zero to two against Casa Pastores at the La Madera Municipal Field.

The Lanzarote team did not have a good first half where they had some chances, but they were quite wrong when looking for the goal. The Gran Canaria team did not cause much danger either and the little work that goalkeeper Naza had, she managed to save it efficiently.

Where the home team was effective was in the pressure on the ball, forcing the Tiñosero team to play quickly, without thinking or looking for the best alternative, leading them to quickly lose the ball, although without consequences for the score.

It was in the second half when the goals would arrive. Jack Talbot's players took on the message that the coach gave them at halftime, where he asked them to show the team that had managed to win last week in Tenerife.

Four minutes after the restart, Alicia managed to make a good counterattack down the wing, facing goalkeeper Paola. The attacker's shot was repelled by the goalkeeper, falling at the feet of Janet, who took advantage of the rebound despite the opposition of two defenders to open the scoring and make it zero to one.

The goal gave the FC Puerto del Carmen players some more peace of mind, taking control of the ball without experiencing many problems in their defensive zone.

Although the Gran Canaria team had some chances, the goal would once again be on the Lanzarote team's scoreboard. With 15 minutes remaining, Haimara hit a free kick from the edge of the area, passing the ball over the wall and bouncing just in front of the rival goalkeeper who could not take control of the ball, which ended up in the back of the net.

With the zero to two, the local team made some substitutions thinking about looking for a goal that would allow them to get into the game. Meanwhile, the visitors, with much more defensive changes, managed to take control of the ball in the center of the field, preventing the score from being modified.

With this victory, FC Puerto del Carmen achieves the second, and consecutively away from home, moving a little further away from the relegation zone. Next week there will be a rest day, with the Lanzarote club's coaching staff hoping that this will not affect the good rhythm that the team has taken in recent weeks.
