FC Puerto del Carmen ends the season in Fuerteventura

The Tiñoseras travel to Fuerteventura to face CD Peña de la Amistad

Preview between FC Puerto del Carmen and Peña de la Amistad

The last day of the Women's First National League has arrived, with FC Puerto del Carmen closing the season with a comfortable, due to the distance, trip to Fuerteventura, visiting CD Peña de la Amistad, with nothing at stake for either contender.

The Tiñosero team will once again be in trouble for this match, in which they could have the return of Nieves, after having to stay one match off the field due to accumulation of cards. They will once again suffer the loss of reserve team players who have been important throughout the season with the first team, as they will be helping the second team to get out of the relegation places.

Jack Talbot will try, even so, to encourage his players to close the season with a victory and maintain tenth position in the standings, after a very complicated season with many casualties due to injury, which has kept the coaching staff on edge when scheduling training sessions and playing matches, which is even more meritorious for the work done by all members of the squad, players included.

The match against CD Peña de la Amistad will be played on Sunday at 11:00 am in the Campo Municipal de Los Pozos de Puerto del Rosario and will be directed by Leandro Negrín Montesdeoca, accompanied on the wings by Adrián Anzola Pérez and Iago Camacho Boan.

In other news, the reserve team, which is fighting to avoid relegation from the Preferente Interinsular Femenina, travels to Gran Canaria to visit the leader, Unión Viera “B”, with the importance of the dispute of these three points for both teams.

The Gran Canaria team is looking to certify the championship as soon as possible and the Lanzarote team is looking to save the category and that the gap between the reserve team and the first team is not so noticeable.

The match will be played on Sunday at 11:00 am at the Alfonso Silva Municipal Stadium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, refereed by referee Aitor Soriano Méndez.

After this match, the Tiñosero team will still have to receive CD Achamán B, visit CD Cardones and host CD Aregranca. The Lanzarote team is currently two points away from salvation, after winning last weekend by 4 to 2 against Playa Negra at the Municipal Manuel Arrocha García de Puerto del Carmen.
