This weekend, the ESNA Lanzarote swimming team moved to the municipal pool of Puerto del Rosario, in Fuerteventura.
During Saturday, the group of 20 swimmers from the children, youth and junior categories, accompanied by their coaches Raúl García and Óscar Pérez, moved to the neighboring island of Fuerteventura where they competed in several 50-meter events of different styles against other clubs from the two islands.
In the first session, 18 athletes from ESNA Lanzarote managed to qualify for the finals, held in the second session in the afternoon.
In addition to these individual events in backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle, four mixed relay teams participated in 4 x 50 freestyle and 4x 50 medley, achieving a total of 30 medals between them.
The ESNA Lanzarote swimming club "is very proud of the times obtained by all the swimmers, which reflect the effort and dedication in each training session, as well as the great work of their coaches and technicians and the support of the families that make up this club".
"This tournament is one more step in our competitive calendar, an opportunity for our swimmers to experience the competition and show their true potential," they say.
