It is being a complicated season for FC Puerto del Carmen, especially when playing as visitors, where they have not managed to score this season, worsening the situation with the defeat this weekend against CD Firgas.

The match had equality and arrivals in the first minutes of it, with possibilities to open the scoring for either of the two squads, but it was the Firguense team that managed to get ahead on the scoreboard, with Rosa Delia scoring from a corner kick into an empty goal.

The goal, as happened in the match against Tarsa, or in the previous ones outside the Municipal of Puerto del Carmen, undermined the confidence of the Lanzarote players, who lowered their heads and allowed their rival to grow. Near the half hour of the match came the second goal for the Gran Canaria team, and again after a corner kick, but in this case, after taking advantage of an error in the marking, Rosa Delia once again beat Naza's goal.

With the arrival of the break it was time to talk, look for solutions, boost morale and improve in attitude and intensity, and it was achieved. At the beginning of the second half, FC Puerto del Carmen showed a different face than it had before entering the locker room, even having some chances to beat Paula's goal, without reaching the final goal.

When it seemed that the goal was closer for the Tiñoseras, the third of the locals arrived, who managed to string together a counterattack in a masterful way that Eugenia defined, almost sentencing the match at 67 minutes.

This time the goal did not undermine the confidence of the red team, who continued looking for a way to reduce the advantage and believe in the set objective, that of the first victory away from home. Manuela, just one minute after the CD Firgas goal, made it 3 to 1 and carried her teammates in search of the goal.

With a quarter of an hour left for the end of the match, and with high morale, an error arrived that cost the fourth goal to the team trained by Jack Talbot, after Firgas cut a ball exit through the center, taking advantage of Ángela to put the 4 to 1 on the scoreboard, a result that would not move anymore.

With this result, FC Puerto del Carmen remains in the middle zone of the standings, with 12 points, after adding 4 victories and 6 defeats.
