Costa Teguise Basketball (CB La Villa) has enjoyed a wonderful weekend of basketball in Florida, in the United States, where they have won three of the four games
played on the different courts of "The Big House" of the Hoop Culture Circuit-Orlando.
On Saturday, they achieved a full sweep of victories, beating Kallpa Hoops in a very tight finish (61-60) and convincingly beating Goon Squad B (25-71). On Sunday, they started by winning against Goon Squad A (64-61), but were defeated in the last game against Brawlers (76-55).
After the basketball part, the Teguise expedition is going to enjoy a few spectacular days in the southern United States. Costa Teguise Basketball is going to have a week with very diverse activities as they plan, among many other things, to visit the Universal Islands of Adventure Park, also the University of Central Florida where they will attend the NCAA Division I game between UCF and Texas Christian University TCU at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando.
After a short break to rest at their accommodation in Kissimmee, Florida, to Tampa, they will move to the University of South Florida where they will witness the NCAA Division I game between USF vs University of Memphis at the Yuenling Center in Tampa.
In the last few days, this expedition from Lanzarote will not stop much. They will visit Miami Beach and downtown Miami and, at night, they will enjoy live an NBA game between Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies. They close their tour of Florida by visiting the Keys on the last day of the expedition before returning to their island.
This trip responds to the club's annual initiative of taking a trip to different destinations. This year's trip is very special because it is part of the celebration of the club's tenth anniversary.
