Comfortable victory for Magec Tías against Gender Violence

The red-and-black team returns to winning ways by defeating ABDA Sanfer with a score of 79 to 53

Match between Magec Tías Against Gender Violence and ADBA Sanfer

The third victory arrived for Magec Tías Against Gender Violence, after defeating ADBA Sanfer by 79 to 53, in a match where the Lanzarote team had a magical first quarter that served to control the match and not suffer at the end of it.

Rarely had the Magec Tías Against Gender Violence been seen so successful in all sectors as it was in the first quarter of the match against the Asturian team. The locals controlled the rebounds in both baskets, were lethal on the counterattack with steals that allowed them to attack with three players against one defender, were successful in preventing clear shots from the opponent and managed to find the necessary gaps to score, putting the score at 26 to 4 at the end of the first quarter.

The advantage of having such a large score allowed Jesús García to bring in players who earn the right to be in the squad week after week, but who have not had the opportunity to have as many minutes as Nereida Bermúdez, who is always there for whatever the club needs, being one of the entity's players with the most red-and-black campaigns and one of the "survivors" from when the team was in the regional category.

Andrea Santana and Marina Melián also had their opportunity, who even dared to look for shots at the basket and enjoy their debut in the Women's League 2, with the red-and-black team going into the break with a score of 43 to 19. In the second half, the peninsular team began to speed up the game, to such an extent that the local team's coach was forced to call a time-out to redirect the situation and prevent "the black shadow of the third quarter" from appearing once again in a match of Magec Tías Against Gender Violence.

Finally, the Tenerife coach succeeded and the local team recovered, without suffering any difficulties throughout the second half, concluding the match with a score of 79 to 53. Next week, Magec Tías Against Gender Violence travels to Tenerife to face Náutico, on Sunday at 12:00, where they will try to continue on the path to victory to continue exciting their fans.
