CD Pingüinos will attend the Spanish Artistic Swimming Championship

The team from Conejero travels to Sabadell with 21 athletes with whom they will try to reach the podium this weekend

CD Pingüinos has traveled this Thursday to Sabadell to compete in the Spanish Alevín and Infantil First Division Artistic Swimming Championship that will be held this weekend. The Arrecife club, which is part of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, will be made up of 21 athletes.

The Alevín team will be made up of Avril Bethencourt Romero, Lucía Martín Barreiro, Carlota Martín Barreiro, Martyna Golawska Reguilón, Nora Díaz Molina, Mar Saavedra González, Julieta Cabrera Osuna, Carla Martín Perera, Lucio José Bethencourt Romero, Vega Jiménez Manzano and Noa Nieto Marrero.

All the Alevines participate in the figures mode that opens the national competition. In the duo, the CD Pingüinos de Arrecife team has registered the pairs formed by Vega Jiménez and Mar Saavedra, and Carla Martín and Martyna Golawska. They will also participate in the team and combo routines, completing the participation in the Alevín category with the mixed duo formed by Lucio José Bethencourt and Noa Nieto.

As for the children's category, CD Pingüinos has in Sabadell the presence of Victoria Romero Martín, Vega Martínez Morales, Dolores de León Delgado, Laura Alemán Salvago, Maeva Méndez López-Socas, Daniela Brito Espino, Adriana Cabrera Pérez, Eduardo Curbelo Plata, Sofía Méndez López-Socas and Miguel Martínez Morales.

In the duo mode, the pair formed by Laura Alemán and Victoria Romero has been registered. In addition, the club will have the participation of two mixed duos, being formed by Vega Martínez and Miguel Martínez, and the pair made up of Adriana Cabrera and Eduardo Curbelo.

The 21 members of CD Pingüinos de Arrecife will be accompanied on this occasion by coaches Sara Gijón and Beatriz Gavira. "It has been weeks of demanding training to be among the best national artistic swimming clubs in the Alevín and Infantil categories," they say from the team.
