Club Balonmano Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen met again on Saturday night with the victory and takes advantage of the stumble of its main rival in the fight to qualify for the promotion phase of the Women's Silver Honor Division of Handball. The players trained by Jesús Casanova only needed the first part to channel the victory and defeat a University of Granada that never gave the sensation of endangering the victory of the Tiñoseras.

CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen took control of the game from the beginning of the match, with the Tiñoseras showing solid defense and effective attack. The goals of Atteneri Morales (2), Belén García and Suely, put the 4-0 on the scoreboard. It took eight minutes for the University of Granada to score its first goal of the match, with Cristina Sánchez being the one who pierced the goal defended by Cristina Mazaira.

The advantage reached seven goals in the 11th minute of the first half, reflecting the electronic scoreboard of the Tías Municipal Pavilion 8 to 1 in favor of CB Puerto del Carmen. From that moment on, the local team knew how to manage the advantage they had. With five minutes remaining for the end of the first half, Jesús Casanova requested a time-out to ask for intensity again in his team's game. An intensity that was demonstrated in the final minutes, with a new partial of 3-0 and with which the break was reached with the result of 17-7.

The second part of the match barely had any history, with the advantage that CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen had being so comfortable that it never saw the victory in danger. The University of Granada managed to reduce the income to five goals, putting 20-15 in the 18th minute of the second half.

Until the end of the match, CB Puerto del Carmen put on its work clothes again and increased the differences on the scoreboard. The partial was 5-1 in the last ten minutes of the match, putting 25-16 on the scoreboard.

CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen adds two important points and takes a giant step to qualify for the promotion phase for the second consecutive season. The Tiñoseras take advantage of the stumble of Vicar Goya, a team that fell at home against BM Leganés (20-22) and increase the advantage over the third classified to four points, a position currently occupied by Vino Doña Berenguela BM Bolaños. In the next match, Puerto del Carmen travels to Madrid to face BM Sanse.
