Chinijos Otopedia Carmen could not assert its condition as host and ended up falling by a tight 41 to 43 against Serviauto Bueu Atlético Balonmano. The victory of the Galicians, added to the draw between Balonmano Laguna and Balonmano Maracena, allows them to secure their ticket to the final phase with one match remaining.
