The two teams offered a great spectacle on the 40x20, and the Galician team ended up taking the victory by a narrow 38 to 37, ending the Lanzarote team's winning streak.

With three minutes left until the end, the locals achieved a 3-0 run to get ahead on the scoreboard, with Abián Martín tying (36-36).
In the last minute of the match, Roque Arias and Diego Pérez increased the difference to two goals in favor of Bueu Atlético Balonmano, and Joel Armas scored on the buzzer, not being enough to secure a positive result in this complicated away game.
With the result of 38 to 37, the end of the match was reached, seeing Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife break its winning streak of recent months, although remaining in second position in the standings. San José Obrero will play away again next week, visiting the court of Balonmano Ribeiro.
