Magec Tías Against Gender Violence, which is facing its second season in the Women's League 2, is already working on the project for the next campaign, starting with the confirmation of Aday Villalba as the team's technical manager.
Aday Villalba commented at the close of the agreement with the entity that "it is an illusion and gratitude to the club for counting on me again and, at the same time, a great sense of responsibility to have to take the club's big team".
We face it with great enthusiasm and desire, knowing that we start from scratch (Aday Villalba).
The objective that the club has set for this next season is still to achieve permanence and consolidate the project. "Every year is different. We have to go slowly and try to lay the foundations of this project. A new season begins and we will go step by step to achieve the objective".
The coach has already begun to plan the 2018/2019 season. "We will try to maintain most of the squad and look in the market only for what we need", commented the technical manager of the first team, pointing out that "it is still early, there are quite a few open competitions and the American universities have not finished either."
Along with his successful debut in LF2, Aday Villalba has a long career as a basketball coach, having coached teams from the base of CB Ariagona, CB Grubati and CD Magec Tías, as well as the men's senior team of CB Conejero. He was also a Canary Islands selector in the categories of women's minibasket and men's cadet.
