The Lanzarote comedian Kike Pérez never thought that, now that he is dedicated to humor and has hung up his soccer boots, a goal of his was going to bring so much media repercussion.
It all started in the charity match "Vitolo's friends" that was held during the Christmas holidays in the Municipal of Garachico where he was invited to participate. "When Vitolo called me for this year's Vitolo Friends Association match, he told me that I had to put on a show. He thought I was going to tell a couple of stories, but this happened when nobody expected it... (video)", the comedian narrated on Facebook shortly after the match, referring to a header goal from a corner kick that put it far beyond the reach of the rival goalkeeper.
"I'll take the moment and celebrate the goal with Donato, who is great", he told us in statements to LanzaroteDeportiva.com. The Lanzarote native could hardly think about what has happened days after his video was uploaded to social networks.
