"There will be no peace for poetry"

Image of the graffiti

This is how Federico García Lorca Street in Bellavista dawned a few days ago.

And with the act stating that they are there, that they are still alive and that they continue in that little "Viva" and black and white Spain. I could be talking about Congress, but it seems that the tone of the opposition in the hemicycle is also transferred to the street. And that is dangerous.

"There will be no peace for poetry"

Say those who ignore what life is.

Calling Lorca "Faggot" is trampling the homeland, spitting in the face of culture and thereby also making Spain less alive.

There will be no peace for dead poets who did not enter the clubs where they did not fit or feel "well placed".

The Spain of the two sides, subdivides and becomes even sadder.

The graffiti that states that the extreme right is rising. And racism and all the identity phobias that we never imagined could still be alive are rising.

It is impossible to objectify humanity, impulses and life make us love colors.

They cannot force us to be black or white, because we are gray even if it is difficult for us to be neutral.

The eternal binomial that tries to take us for granted.

But nobody has the right...to take you for granted!

We took phobias for dead and suffocated.

But by putting the Dictator in his place, they rose again.

Long live Spain, but Spain will never be alive again with Lorca dead.

Spain dies every day with every graffiti, every insult, whether on networks, in dark streets or in a Congress that is not up to the task.

Intolerance and lack of respect slowly extinguish Spain.

The problem with this country, and this world, is not having included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the inviolable right not to judge the identity of the skin that is not yours.

A rifle was not enough, because Lorca is in every library in this country.

But a lot of poetry is needed to erase "the faggot" from the lips of those who have not understood life.
