Regarding the use of the flag of Spain in official centers

Article three of Law 39/1981, of October 28, which regulates the use of the flag of Spain and other flags and ensigns, orders the placement of the national flag in "the buildings and establishments of the central, institutional, autonomous, provincial or insular and municipal Administration of the State." This mandate is not fulfilled in such a way that in many official buildings no flag flies, which makes it difficult to identify such buildings, whether they are administrative offices, schools or public institutes.

It is not a question of being more or less patriotic, but of complying with the Law. In some centers, at most, it is kept half hidden or totally hidden inside, when it should occupy a preferential place both inside and outside.

If we go to certain regions of Spain, we see that in Administration buildings all kinds of flags fly - even unofficial ones - except the Spanish one. It is a consented outrage. Failure to comply with this legal mandate may constitute an alleged crime of administrative prevarication. If the laws are not complied with, they must be enforced by whoever is responsible with all the legal tools, instead of looking the other way.
